Claymore Royal Stewart, M19385, is a 2000 foal by Doura Western Star and out of California Canyon Hannah. Unfortunately we lost Hannah when Stewart was 9 days old and he was raised as an orphan. You could never tell that now! He didn't start his breeding career until he was 4 when Jeanne Williams, now of Sargent Equestrian Center, took an interest in him and stood him for two breeding seasons. While he was with Jeanne she showed him and he won Grand Champion Draft Stallion at the 2005 Grass Valley Draft Horse Classic, allowing him to be nominated into the 2005 Draft Horse Journal All-American contest. In 2006 he went north for one breeding season with Kevin Pelonero of Calico Farms in Alberta, Canada. However, in 2009 we decided to simplify his life, and ours, and had him gelded.
